Is that real cork? We often get that question. We know cork best from the bottles that we like to unpop. But cork has many fine properties. Cork is 100% natural, environmentally friendly and recyclable. Cork comes from the cork oak that grows mainly in Portugal. The cork bark is removed from the tree and grows back on its own. That is why cork is one of the most durable materials. What is also good for Mascolorists to know is that cork is very light and water-repellent. So you don't have to worry about wet toes. It is useful to spray cork with a multi spray . Above all, a cork shoe is of course a festive and special item.

Cork Ocean is a Mascolori classic with a cork upper. Lines and openings are laser-cut into the cork at different depths. The openings reveal the blue fabric beneath, creating a bright contrast with the natural colour of the cork.

We found the supplier of this distinctive material in a small Spanish village. The cork comes from the Iberian Peninsula and is processed on site.

The leather lining, leather sole and characteristic last complete the design. Pair it with light trousers or dark jeans and let the cork-and-blue pattern stand out.
